About Now Clocks
The only time worth keeping.
Now Clocks makes one clock, with one word on it: Now. It's the only time a clock can honestly point to - the past has gone, the future hasn't arrived - so the thing on your wall keeps quietly returning you to the present. Call it mindfulness, call it paying attention; either way, it's the most useful thing a clock can do.
Each one is made to order in the United States and shipped to your door. The word stays the same. The background, font and colours are yours.
Who makes these
Mark K., Founder & Designer
South coast of England, United Kingdom
Now Clocks was started by Mark, a founder and designer based on the south coast of England. He spent over a decade as a web designer before launching this studio in 2026, partly because every wall clock he could find was either purely functional or relentlessly upbeat, and he wanted something quieter on the wall.
Every clock is printed and assembled by a small workshop in the United States, then shipped directly to customers in the USA. No overseas freight, no surprise import duties. The artwork is designed in the studio in England; the manufacturing happens close to you. It's the way the whole thing makes sense: small studio thinking, local-to-you making.
How it works
- Pick a colourway. The word never changes; everything around it does.
- Set the colours yourself: background, text, frame and hands. Loud, quiet, or almost invisible.
- Add it to the cart and pay. Stripe handles the money; we never see your card.
- We print and ship it from the United States. It arrives ready to hang.
Why one word?
A clock is one of the few things you look at without deciding to. Dozens of times a day, usually to work out how much time has gone or how little is left. Both of those take you somewhere else.
This one takes you back to right here, right now.
